Change of hART is a small jewelry design studio in Wichita, KS owned and operated by Jelena Louie. Jelena graduated with a degree in Textile Design from FIDM in Los Angeles, CA and apprenticed with a jeweler in Sitka, AK. She has been making beaded jewelry since 2003, and draws her inspiration from nature's bounty. Jelena was an active member of California Silk Artists group in Santa Monica, CA from 1999 to 2003, and Baranof Arts and Crafts Association in Sitka, AK from 2005 to 2008. She exhibited annually at Sitka Artisans Market from 2005 to 2007, as well as at several other minor fine art and crafts shows in California, Alaska, Kansas, and Texas. Her jewelry was featured at Artist Cove Gallery in Sitka, AK, Scanlon Gallery in Ketchikan, AK and most recently at Clayworks Gallery in Newton, KS.
